Valentine’s Day is only 3 weeks away! I love decorating for holidays and thought I would get a jump start on Valentine’s Day decorations by making this super easy and inexpensive Valentine’s Day garland for my fireplace. Here are the step by step directions. The only materials needed are two bags of pipe cleaners. I used pink and red but red and white or pink and white would look great too! I got these for $0.97 each and had enough to make a garland for my fireplace and my window with pipe cleaners left over.
Bend your pipe cleaner in half to make the bottom of the heart.
Bend the tops of your pipe cleaner so that it looks like you have two candy canes.
Before you twist the top part closed, slip it through another heart to start your chain.
Continue alternating colors until you have the length that you need.
I’m hanging this garland on my fireplace mantle. So cute and easy! Now, once the snow thaws I will get out to the store to purchase some more things to decorate with for Valentine’s Day 🙂 My mantle is looking a little bare…
